Naturally Curious

Are you naturally curious? This phrase was talked about quite frequently in the TSO office this past year. Bill began the conversation explaining that it was the answer for our frustration with teaching others about technology. There are some teachers who are not naturally curious about technology. I know it is amazing to us too, but it does help me when I’m frustrated with Professional Development. The teachers who benefit the most are “naturally curious”. They move forward with just a few suggestions and are willing to take charge of their own learning. When it comes to technology they are exploring and adjusting their teaching. How do we get others to start the expedition? I’d love to hear your success stories for finding the explorers in your school.
